Moderation Policy

Criticize systems. Don’t attack people.

BORN HATER accepts strong criticism of systems. It does not accept hate speech, racism, xenophobia, threats, doxxing, illegal content, or attacks on identity groups.

What moderators look for

  • No hate speech.
  • No racism or xenophobia.
  • No attacks on identity groups, including nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, language, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar identity.
  • No doxxing or publishing another person’s private information.
  • No threats, violence, terrorism, revenge, or coordinated harassment.
  • No illegal content.
  • No manipulated images, fake statistics, unsupported crime accusations, or conspiracy claims presented as fact.

How reports are handled

  1. 01 Moderators may warn users, request edits, hide posts, remove posts, limit accounts, or suspend accounts when rules are violated.
  2. 02 Reports should explain the rule violation clearly. Disagreement with a political opinion is not enough by itself.
  3. 03 Strong factual claims about society may require sources, especially when they accuse people, institutions, or groups of crimes.
  4. 04 Users may appeal moderation actions by explaining what was misunderstood and how the post can be edited to follow the rules.
